| How can I contact the opers? | |
|
- If you need immediate help, join #operhelp or #irctoo. - To see all visible opers, type /who 0 o in your IRC client(that's /who <zero> <lowercase o> - Or, you can try /stats p <server name> - this will show you all opers who are currently "active" on a specific server. NOTE: you can shorten the server name like so: '/stats p foo-bar.on.ca.irctoo.net' -> '/stats p foo-bar.*' as long as only one server matches(IE: you can't use foo-bar.* when 'foo-bar.on.ca.irctoo.net' and 'foo-bar.ca.us.irctoo.net' are linked). - You can also email all the opers, on opers@irctoo.net or email the irctoo mailing list, which both opers and users can sign up for, on irctoo@irctoo.net - If you need to email a particular oper, all the opers have irctoo email addresses so email <nickname here>@irctoo.net - Note: it's a good idea to /whois oper before approaching them with an issue to see their idle time and/or away message. To get idle times for opers on a different server than you, use /whois oper oper. |
