Type /NickServ REGISTER <password> <e-mail> Remember not to include the <> brackets, and to replace the words in them with information relevant to you. Remember to give a *real* email address that you use. For registration to be completed, Nickserv will send you an email with an authorization code. You need to authorize your nick within 2 days of typing the registration command on IRCtoo. Do exactly what the email says, and you should have no problems :) Once your nick is authorized make sure that you 'identify' whenever you come onto IRCtoo. To do this, type /identify yourpassword Replace 'yourpassword' with the password you used when you registered your nick. This will help keep your nick registration up to date and let you into lots of channels. Note: If you forget to authorize your nick within 2 days, type /NickServ SET EMAIL <password> <email> Nickserv will then re-send the authorization code to you. |
